This work was originally published in 1724, and updated in 1728. The Folio Society edition takes a selection from the 1728 edition and adds an introduction by Margarette Lincoln.
Hardback. Publisher’s black cloth with title and decoration in red and white to spine, a skull & bone motif in white to upper board; black endpapers with a repeating skull & cutlasses motif in spot UV varnish. In a black papered slipcase. pp [i]-xxiii [xxiv], [1]-439 [440], including b/w illustrations. Size: 9 x 6 inches approx. (226mm x 150mm).
Black cloth a little rubbed/marked/scratched however this is much more apparent in the brightly lit images than when the book is in the hand.
Overall, light handling wear but otherwise a nice, clean copy.
