Originally published 1956 by Jonathan Cape, this Folio Society edition first published 2018 with illustrations by Fay Dalton.
Hardback. Publisher’s grey-silver cloth with title and decoration in silver and red to spine and front board; metallic grey endpapers. In a dark grey papered slipcase with colour illustration onlay to front panel, and publisher logos in silver to rear. pp ix, [x], 229, [1] title list, plus colour illustrations. Size: 9 x 6.5 inches approx. (228mm x 162mm).
This copy was still in publisher’s shrink wrap prior to photographing and inspection.
Slipcase has received a light bang to lower third of front panel however except for the dent visible to bottom front edge this isn’t immediateley apparent unless angled to catch the light.
A nice, clean copy in unread condition.
