Originally published 1949 by Hamish Hamilton and a companion book to Mitford’s The Pusuit of Love (1945). The Folio Society published their edition with illustrations by Roland Pym and an introduction by Pauline Tennant in 1992; this copy being a 2008 reprint.

Hardback. Publisher’s illustrated cloth with title in red to spine; pale blue endpapers. In a pale blue papered slipcase. pp xiv, 242, including b/w illustrations. Size: 8.75 x 5.75 inches approx. (222mm x 144mm).

Slipcase dented slightly to front panel.

Overall, a lovely, clean copy – appears unread.
