Hardback in a dustwrapper. Black cloth spine with title in orange, over grey paper boards with title and decoration in black to front; illustrated endpapers. 318pp plus 17 b/w illustrations and 12 colour plates. Size: 10.25 x 7.25 inches approx. (261mm x 186mm).
Dustwrapper lightly worn and rubbed to extremities; slightly nicked to bottom edge of front panel; a little creased and worn to foot of spine. Boards a touch dusty and marked; lightly knocked to foot of spine. Pages a touch dusty in places but generally clean throughout; some foxing/spotting to edges of page block, dusty to top edge.
Overall, a particularly well preserved example – these reissues (Harrap, and the Book Club Associates edition) are often found in a tatty dustwrapper with a sunned spine – this being an attractive copy indeed.
