The Guild book club edition in an attractive leather-style binding. The text comprises of the 1966 second editions published by Allen & Unwin of The Fellowship of the Ring, The Two Towers, and The Return of the King.
Hardback. Publisher’s faux-leather binding with gilt-effect decoration to spine and upper board. 1077pp including maps. Size: 8.5 x 5.5 inches approx. (216mm x 141mm).
Light shelf wear to extremities. Gilt-effect decoration to spine is a touch sunned to silver-effect. Pages lightly age-toned especially to top edge of page-block.
Nonetheless, a nice, clean copy and quite likely unread.
