The gothic classic by Emily Brontë was originally published 1847 by London publishers Thomas Cautley Newby under her pseudonyn ‘Ellis Bell’. This copy being a volume in the extensive New Collins Classics series, first published in 1953 and with many subsequent printings.

Limp boards. Publisher’s blue textured Rexine (or similiar) cloth with silvered title and decoration to spine; grey printed endpapers with repeated Collins Classics monogram design; tinted pale blue to top edge of page-block. 350pp including b/w porrait frontispiece. Size: 7.25 x 4.5 inches approx. (184mm x 116mm).

A particularly nice, clean copy – copies in this condition aren’t as common as they used to be.
