A short history of the Co-op in Horwich, Lancashire. Illustrated throughout with company officials and branch shops.

Hardback. Publisher’s green cloth with gilt title to upper board, blind rules and decoration to upper and lower boards. 64pp including b/w illustrations. Size: 7.25 x 5 inches approx. (185mm x 127mm).

Cloth a little marked and worn; fading to spine. Pages dusty, some creasing but generally clean throughout; staple rusting with some resultant staining to pages at gutter; page-block a little loose being only held in with a single cotton stitch.

Overall, showing some wear commensurate with age and handling but otherwise a pretty decent copy – uncommon.
