Originally published in 1819 and one of Scott’s most popular novels with many editions and printings. It was published in the extensive New Collins Classics series in 1953, this copy a 1968 printing.

Limp boards. Publisher’s blue textured Rexine (or similiar) cloth with gilt title and decoration to spine; grey printed endpapers with repeated Collins Classics monogram design; tinted pale blue to top edge of page-block. 480pp including b/w porrait frontispiece. Size: 7.25 x 4.5 inches approx. (184mm x 115mm).

A lovely, fresh copy which appears unread – copies in this condition aren’t as common as they used to be.
