A rather nice guide for the traveller, lots of advertisements and a fold-out map of Norway. A three panel folded guide and plan to Christiania (1912) loosely inserted.

Hardback. Publisher’s red cloth with gilt title to spine and upper board; blind rules decoration to margins of boards; original price of 2/6 blind stamped to upper board; sewn-in ribbon page marker. pp [i] [ii]-xiii [xiv], 1-256, [xv] xvi-lxxxiii, including four plans, plus fold-out map. Size: 7.25 x 5 inches approx. (186mm x 126mm).

Light sunning to spine. Title page a little foxed, with some offsetting due to inserted guide and a pencilled name to upper margin; the occasional corner crease and some dustiness but generally pages clean throughout; a short tear to fold-out map.

Overall, light wear but otherwise a nicely preserved copy – lovely indeed.
