A selection of historical images with descriptive text, dating from as early as 1888 up to around 1938. Thornton and Cleveleys are situated between Blackpool to the south and Fleetwood to the north, on Lancashire’s coastal plain known as the Fylde.
Card covers. 60pp including b/w illustrations. Size: 7.5 x 9.25 inches approx. (191mm x 235mm).
Covers sunned and marked; some light wear and rubbing. Pages a touch dusty, some light foxing and spotting, but generally clean throughout.
Overall, showing some wear commensurate with age and storage but otherwise a nice, clean copy. An uncommon publication.
