Originally published with Detmold illustrations by Hodder & Stoughton in 1909; this copy the 1981 limited edition (no limitation number stated) leather binding with twenty-three tipped-in colour plates.
Note: also in 1981 Hodder published the trade edition with red papered faux-cloth boards; and also a more sumptuous limited edition finely bound in red morocco of 500 copies with slipcase. Neither of these editions had the tipped-in colour plates – they’re just printed to page on art paper.

Publisher’s full red-brown leather binding with gilt title to spine, gilt title and decoration to front board; red silk-style endpapers; sewn-in ribbon page marker. pp xvi, 152, including b/w illustrations plus tipped-in colour plates with tissue guards.
