Originally published September 1903, this copy an undated fourteenth edition as stated on title page; listing to verso has thirteenth edition dated October 1913.

A nice, half-leather binding – no bindery credited however.

Hardback. A red-orange half-leather over red cloth boards; gilt title and decoration to spine, raised bands; page-block with top edge gilt; marbled endpapers. pp xiii, [3], 215. Size: 7.5 x 4.75 inches approx. (191mm x 122mm).

Leather a touch marked and rubbed, some wear to extremities; sone sunning/fading, especially apparent to upper front board. Offsetting to margins of endpapers mirroring leather on inner boards; occasional foxing or dustiness but generally pages clean throughout; gilt to top edge rubbed and worn; spotting to edges of page-block.

Overall, showing some light wear from shelf and age but otherwise a nice, clean copy – attractive.
