A facsimile reprint edition of the original first edition published 1921 by John Lane at The Bodley Head.
Harper Collins published a rather nice series of facsimile editions which reproduced the original publications of the Agatha Christie crime novels – dustwrapper, cover, and the pages. Each copy also came with a wrap-round bellyband bearing the the Harper Collins imprint, this so as not to spoil the appearance of the facsimile dustwrapper.
Hardback in dustwrapper. 296pp. Size: 7.5 x 5 inches approx. (190mm x 125mm).
This copy lacking the bellyband, presumably discarded by the wont of a previous owner.
A nice, clean copy – and really quite lovely.
