Hardback. Publisher’s dark blue cloth with gilt title and decoration to spine; tinted blue to top edge of page-block. In a dustwrapper with published price £4.95 to front flap. 365pp plus map facing p.128 and a fold-out map to rear. Size: 9 x 6 inches approx. (227mm x 145mm).

Dustwrapper with a touch of light wear to top and bottom edges; spine with good colour to title. Cloth clean and bright, boards sharp to corners. Lightly spotted/foxed to endpapers but otherwise pages clean throughout; lightly spotted to fore-edge and bottom edge of page-block.

Overall, light handling and shelf wear but otherwise a particularly nice, bright copy – lovely
