This ever popular children’s classic was originally published in 1908 with many subsequent editions and printings. This edition with delightful illustrations by John Burningham was published in 1983.
Hardback in a dustwrapper, presented in a slipcase. 240pp including b/w illustrations plus colour plates. Size: 9.5 x 6.5 inches approx. (240mm x 160mm).
Light shelf wear to slipcase with some lifting and loss of laminate to lower edge of front panel. Occasional foxing and handing wear but otherwise pages very clean and fresh throughout.
Overall, a particularly nice, clean copy – attractive and presentable. Not an uncommon edition however can be difficult to find undamaged copies.
